Karen Porter, a retired lawyer, lives in North Carolina (U.S.). A graduate of George Washington University and Northeastern University School of Law, she practiced and taught law in Pennsylvania; co-authored Legal Writing and Oral Advocacy; authored The Legal Environment of Insurance; and edited Insurance Regulation. She founded and edited a weekly legal newspaper; managed an LLM (master’s in law) program for international students; and taught in several law and graduate school programs. She has been Permanent Visiting Law Professor at Pericles International Law Center in Moscow and has taught at the Murom Institute (Murom, RF) and Srednerrusky University (Podolsk, RF). |
