Defence of NGOs and civic activists (Novosibirsk region, Tiumen region, St. Petersburg, Altai)
In Novosibirsk Artem Loskutov, one of the organizers of the “Monstration” youth campaign, has been charged with insulting police officers. It is alleged that during one of the events on the evening of 26 September 2010 the artist, after refusing ‘to fulfil the lawful demands of police officers...began to express himself using foul language’ with regard to the officers. The investigation has been extended until 25 February. Meanwhile, a court ruled that the document signed by Artem Loskutov in which he agreed not to make public information about the initial investigation was unlawful. [...]
