Job vacancy: Russia Campaigner, based in Amnesty's Moscow Office
Deadline: 26 October 2011

"Promoting and protecting human rights in the former Soviet Union is a huge task. But it’s one that Amnesty International (AI) is fully committed to. We’re actively growing our support in the region – getting people involved, motivated and ready to make change happen with us. You can be part of it.

About the role
Working as part of a team under the supervision of the AI Russia Office Director, you’ll develop and put in place campaigning strategies. Coordinating actions and supporting both AI and outside networks, you’ll make sure we have the biggest possible impact. You’ll do that by developing and running training programmes for AI members and our partners. It’s about increasing our capacity in the fight for human rights in Russia and the Former Soviet Union through sustainable growth, building a stable, well-informed constituency of activists and doing it all in line with our international policy and campaigns. So as well as producing campaigning materials and organising events, we’ll expect you to evaluate, monitor, review and report on our ongoing activities. [Read more]
