On July 15, 2011 Friday, a meeting to commemorate the memory of Natalya Estemirova will take place at 6 pm in the new building of «Memorial» (Karetny ryad, 5/10).

First time in Russia the film «Who Killed Natasha? » will be presented (France, 65 min). The film will be also shown in regional offices of «Memorial».

This film is made by a journalist Mylene Saulouy and produced with French television. It researches the reasons for killing a journalist and human rights activist Natalya Estemirova and the whole system of violence against those who speaks openly about human rights abuses in Chechnya. The pickup took place in Grozny, Moscow, St.Petersburg and London. First time it was shown at the International film festival and Human Rights Forum in Geneva in March 2011, where it received a Grand-prix of the World Organization Against Torture. In mid-June it was shown on French TV.

The discussion will take place after the film. First results of the independent investigation of Natalya's murder will be announced.

Everybody is welcomed at the commemoration meeting.
