On 15 July 2012, the third anniversary of the killing of Natalia Estemirova, a human rights defender who worked in the Grozny office of the Memorial human rights NGO, Amnesty International France together with Russia Libertes held an action in memory of this courageous woman. The action took place in Stravinsky Square, the same place where in 2007 Natalia participated in AI France's action to commemorate Anna Politkovskaya.
