Dear Friends,

After a prolonged break, we are delighted to bring to your attention some recent publications on our website. Please also note our upcoming event at Pushkin House in London on 14 May with Russian human rights activist Elena Sannikova.

Some of our recent publications are:

- An essay by Simon Cosgrove and Yuri Dzhibladze on the case of human rights defender Oyub Titiev, the final day of whose trial they attended in Chechnya in March.

- a translation of Oyub Titev's final address to the court at his trial.

- the first of a series of news items selected by Sergei Nikitin, former head of Amnesty International's Moscow office - this item on violations of human rights at Prison Colony IK-16 in Sverdlovsk region.

- translation of an interview with Natalia Taubina, head of Public Verdict Foundation, a major Russian human rights organisation that has just celebrated its 15th anniversary.

- a translation of an interview with leading human rights lawyer Kirill Koroteev on the 'foreign agent' law and the European Court of Human Rights.

- translations of the latest weekly updates by OVD-InfoGolos and Team-29.

As always, a huge thanks to our volunteer translators.

Best wishes - and hope to see you on 14th May!
